Water Fun at Roosevelt

While we were at Roosevelt we had lots of fun on the water. We all float around in the cove and take turns wake boarding, skiing, and tubing.

Scott and Lindsay were able to come for the whole week.

Every morning we had to load up the tubes to head for the water. I think my dad just wanted to show off his Hercules strength.My mom and I were able to do a little tubing together. I love the taco tube it is my favorite!

The kids caught a HUGE grasshopper! I was really proud of Allie she wanted to hold it. No wimpy girls here.

Ethan was up on the ski's! He was so proud of himself. He skied all over the lake.

Brent just CAN'T RESIST a chance to show off. I think Bob is looking at him wondering what the heck he is thinking.

Fishing at Roosevelt

On June 13th we headed to Roosevelt Lake for our annual family trip. It is always a trip that I look forward to all year. All of my family goes...grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Brother, Sister....you get the idea. We all spend the whole week at the lake and we get up and boat in the morning then hang out and have a blast the rest of the day. One evening Brent took the kids fishing. Ethan and Allie both caught a fish. I think they just love to real and cast. Whatever makes them happy is OK with me.

Kindergarten Graduation

On Thursday June 10th Allie graduated from Kindergarten. I can't believe it. This year just flew by. Allie has loved every second of this school year. She can't wait to be a first grader.

After graduation we got a family picture. We were missing Ethan because he was still in class.
Allie had a really great teacher, Mrs Haight. I'm sure she was the reason that Allie loved school so much.

During the ceremony the kids all received their diplomas and the teacher announced what they want to be when they grow up. Allie wants to be an art teacher.

Awards

Ethan has always been really athletic. As his parents we might be a little bias. At the end of the school year he received an award at an assembly. He was PE Student of the Year. We were really excited for him. He is a great kid and we couldn't be prouder. Good Job Ethan!

Be our Guest

Allie just had her dance recital. She did a tap dance to Be our Guest from Beauty and the Beast. She did a really great job. She has such a great time dancing.

We left Kaleb and Rylie with Uncle Mark in case they were a little restless.
Grandma and Papa came and had pretty flowers and a ballerina doll.

Grammy Sue and Uncle Tyler were in town for a visit. We were so glad that they were able to come.

Aunt Jaymi and Kayley came to support Allie too. It was a crazy busy day for them because Kensley got baptized a couple of hours later. Allie was so glad they came.

4 is a GREAT age

In May Kaleb turned 4 and he could not wait for his birthday! He eats, drinks, breaths monster trucks. Brent came through with the cake. He decorated a grave digger cake. I think it turned out Great! Kaleb could not have been happier.

He got a new scooter and helmet from his Grandma and Papa.

He got lots and lots of monster trucks. The funny thing is that he knows which ones they all are. He told us the other day that when he grows up he wants to be a monster truck driver.

RYLIE

I have no idea how this happens overnight. When she wakes up she sports this lovely hairdo everyday. I have to say it puts a smile on my face when I get her up. I guess she has the curl and it has a life of its own.

Cake Face

I am very behind in posting these. Rylie's birthday was the end of April and she turned 2! WOW...where has the time gone. I can't believe our baby is turning into a little girl. Rylie loves to eat anything and everything so when it came to her cupcake ice cream cone of coarse she totally devoured it!

Why we're loved...

The other day Ethan made a "Thank You" card for Jaime and I. We always love getting cards from the kids with those priceless little pictures and spelling alterations. I tried to scan it in, but "SOMEHOW" my scanning software was deleted from my computer... My next post is going to be "Why we love our kids... or Why we shouldn't leave them alone on the computer..." Anyways, here's how the letter went :

"To Mommy and Daddy"

"Mommy, thank you for being such a good Mommy."

"Daddy, thank you for paying taxes."

It sure is nice to know why you are truly loved...

Rylie needed to dry out

A couple of weeks ago I was walking by the laundry room and I saw the dryer light on. I walked in the laundry room and went to shut it when I realized that Rylie had climbed in. She was just hanging out relaxing in the dryer. Kids find the strangest places to play.
