Snow Trip

Last weekend we headed up to Flagstaff with my Mom and Dad and Loni and Chris.  We went up to spend a couple of days with Scott and Lindsay. We decided to have some fun in the snow while we were there. There wasn't a ton of snow but we found a great spot to sled and we had it all to ourselves. The kids loved going down on the sled. Kaleb said he had never built a snowman...well not that he remembered anyways. He was really excited to do that. The BIG boys including Ethan decided they wanted to go down the hill standing up on the sled. They were able to ride it all the way down. Ethan even went down a ramp. The whole trip was so much fun!

Happy Halloween

This year for Halloween the kids got all dressed up and we went to Trunk R Treat at the church. They had so much fun trick r treating without all the long walking. They got plenty of candy and had a great time.

Rylie was Tinkerbell. This is one of my favorite costumes. I was so excited that it fit her and she loved wearing her costume.

Now that Ethan and Allie have gone back to school, Kaleb has lots of free time. He only has preschool 2 days a week. The other day he wanted to play the Wii. He got his game all set up but I noticed he had 3 controllers out. I asked him why he had them all out. He said that Ethan and Allies people needed to be able to play too. I told him that maybe they could all play together when they got home. He didn't need to play their controllers. He was not going for that. He told me they have to play too. So that was that. He played all three of their people. At one point he was paddling two boats at the same time. I guess whatever makes him happy. I think it's pretty cute....he must miss Ethan and Allie more than I thought.

Water Fun at Roosevelt

While we were at Roosevelt we had lots of fun on the water. We all float around in the cove and take turns wake boarding, skiing, and tubing.

Scott and Lindsay were able to come for the whole week.

Every morning we had to load up the tubes to head for the water. I think my dad just wanted to show off his Hercules strength.My mom and I were able to do a little tubing together. I love the taco tube it is my favorite!

The kids caught a HUGE grasshopper! I was really proud of Allie she wanted to hold it. No wimpy girls here.

Ethan was up on the ski's! He was so proud of himself. He skied all over the lake.

Brent just CAN'T RESIST a chance to show off. I think Bob is looking at him wondering what the heck he is thinking.

Fishing at Roosevelt

On June 13th we headed to Roosevelt Lake for our annual family trip. It is always a trip that I look forward to all year. All of my family goes...grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Brother, Sister....you get the idea. We all spend the whole week at the lake and we get up and boat in the morning then hang out and have a blast the rest of the day. One evening Brent took the kids fishing. Ethan and Allie both caught a fish. I think they just love to real and cast. Whatever makes them happy is OK with me.
