Ethan's Erector Set

Ethan got an Erector Set as a gift a while back and we immediately opened it and started working on it. But, if any of you have worked on these things, you know that it takes forever to find the right screw and bolt for each section, and after about 4 hours it got late and we put it away... apparently from our memories too, as we didn't touch it for about 8 months... Ethan came down stairs the other day with his erector set box that he drug out of his closet asking, "Hey, when are we going to finish this?" So, to avoid another 8 month delay, we jumped into it. These things take forever to put together. By the time you finish, you have a 5 pound metal square, filled with 10,000 nuts and bolts, sitting on 4 wheels. Then they give you this little "engine that could" that is suppose to move it with rubber band pullies... Basically, it's a great shelf ornament. The kids did love putting it together, though, and were so excited when it did start to drive across the room. One more check off of the "to do" list.
